Digital Reserve Currency (DRC) is a decentralized digital store of value with a limited supply and a zero inflation rate. It was created during the COVID-19 pandemic to explore the impact of the global economic recession and increasing demand for decentralized financial instruments on its adoption and usage.

The total supply of DRC is fixed at 1,000,000,000 indivisible tokens. Unlike many other projects, DRC did not conduct a token sale and received no funds from investors. Instead, 100% of the total DRC token supply was issued to the Uniswap market with a low initial market cap to allow early adopters to inexpensively establish exposure to DRC if they believe it will have a larger market in the future. The genesis Uniswap LP token was transferred to the DRC community and burned, to ensure DRC will always have market liquidity.
