Bhutan Stakes 320 ETH Worth $970,000 via Figment Following Ethereum Digital ID Launch

The Royal Government of Bhutan has staked 320 ETH valued at approximately $970,000 through Figment's staking infrastructure, data show. The move follows the kingdom's October 2025 launch of a national digital identity system anchored on the Ethereum blockchain. Bhutan became the first nation to deploy state credentials on Ethereum.
