AWE Network originated as STP Network, which launched in 2019.

In mid-2023, STP began transitioning toward AI-native systems and introduced foundational tools like AWNS (Autonomous Worlds Name Service). By Q3 2024, the full rebrand to AWE Network was completed, and the Autonomous Worlds Engine was made live, marking the official launch of AWE’s AI-first infrastructure.

The native token $AWE plays a core role in the AWE Network. Its current use cases include:

• Governance: Vote on network proposals, simulation rules, and funding initiatives.

What Is AWE Tokenomics?

As of now, the AWE Network has not publicly released a detailed tokenomics breakdown for the new $AWE token. Key details such as total supply, emission schedule, ecosystem allocation, and staking mechanisms are expected to be introduced through future governance proposals.

However, since AWE evolved from STP Network, it's helpful to review the previous tokenomics structure for context.

STPT Tokenomics (Legacy Model)

• Token Name: Standard Tokenization Protocol (STPT)

• Initial Total Supply: 2,000,000,000 STPT

• Initial Distribution: 45% Ecosystem, 25% Foundation, 10% Team and Advisors, 10% Strategic Partnerships, 10% Reserve.

The STPT token was originally launched to support decentralized governance, tokenized asset infrastructure, and DAO tooling. As the project transitioned to AWE Network, the token migrated 1:1 to AWE on the Base chain.
