Revolut has processed more than $1.2 billion in stablecoin transfers on Polygon, a milestone it says reflects real user transactions rather than test activity. The network's report claims the transfers settled in seconds and cost fractions of a cent, positioning blockchain rails as a lower-cost alternative to traditional cross-border payment systems.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said stablecoins may become crypto's "ChatGPT moment" for businesses looking for faster and more efficient payments. He also pointed to more than $33 trillion in stablecoin trading volume in 2025 and noted that nearly 90% of that activity was tied to USDT and USDC. Separately, Bloomberg Intelligence projected stablecoin flows could reach $56.6 trillion by 2030.

US lawmakers unveiled a draft Digital Asset PARITY Act on Friday that would adjust tax rules for digital assets but drew criticism for leaving Bitcoin (BTC) outside key relief. The proposal would exempt certain stablecoin payments under $200 from gain/loss recognition if the token stays within 1% of its dollar peg, and it would let some proof-of-stake participants defer taxes on staking rewards. The Bitcoin Policy Institute urged lawmakers to extend similar treatment to miners and other block-reward recipients.

Draft legislative language circulated on Capitol Hill earlier this week as negotiators again tried to settle how stablecoin rewards should be treated. The issue has been stuck for about a year and, according to Coin Center policy director Jason Somensatto, remains the main obstacle to moving broader crypto legislation forward.

Circle shares fell 20% on Tuesday after reports that a draft CLARITY Act could limit certain stablecoin reward structures, while Bernstein argued the sell-off may be mispriced. Separately, Deloitte Canada and Stablecorp said they are working to integrate the Canadian dollar–pegged stablecoin QCAD into bank payment and settlement flows, as Canada moves toward a formal framework for fiat-backed digital assets.

Cardano (ADA) slid to $0.24 on Friday after spending most of the month holding above the $0.25 support zone. Over the last 24 hours, ADA fell 3.83% as BTC and ETH also weakened, while Cardano’s DeFi metrics show USDC at 36% of its stablecoin market cap and TVL at $171 million versus nearly $1 billion at a late-2024 peak. Technicians highlight $0.256, $0.27, and $0.235 as key levels, with a March 24, 2026 chart noting prior $0.25-area rebounds of 85% and 200%.

On March 27, 2026, David Sacks stepped down as the White House AI and Crypto Czar after reaching the role's 130-day limit, and moved to co-chair PCAST with Michael Kratsios. Unfinished items include the CLARITY Act's Senate path and the operational future of a strategic Bitcoin reserve created by executive order. Bitcoin traded around $66,000, down roughly 4% over the past 24 hours, as broader macro and geopolitical factors also weighed on sentiment.

XRP is trading around $1.33 and remains boxed between roughly $1.25 support and $1.50 resistance as buyers continue to struggle to clear the upper level. Separately, t54.ai says AI-driven "agent commerce" on the XRP Ledger is expanding, while an S-4 filing indicates Evernorth Holdings holds 473 million XRP valued at about $685 million ahead of a planned Nasdaq listing.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse told Fox Business that Ripple is entering a new phase after completing $2 billion in acquisitions and is aiming for a record first quarter. He said Ripple Prime revenue has tripled since an acquisition, while Ripple Treasury enables transfers in about one minute rather than five days and ties the company's growth to XRP's utility.

Japan's Financial Services Agency has listed KuCoin among unregistered businesses that received warning letters, citing online solicitation of OTC derivatives. Separate actions and restrictions in Hong Kong, Austria, and Dubai have added pressure, alongside a reported drop in exchange reserves from 14K BTC (2024) to 2100 BTC (early 2026) and stablecoin holdings from over $1.3B to $543M within a year.
