OpenAI adds Plaid-linked bank and brokerage accounts for ChatGPT Pro users in the U.S.
OpenAI rolled out new personal finance features in ChatGPT on Friday, enabling U.S. Pro subscribers to link bank and investment accounts via Plaid. The tool covers 12,000+ institutions and can analyze spending, subscriptions, and upcoming payments, while viewing balances and transactions without being able to move funds or see full account numbers. Pro access costs $200 a month, and OpenAI says synced data is deleted within 30 days after an account is disconnected.
