Ethereum holds $2K support as record 37.8M ETH staked and $200M ETF inflows raise bear trap risk

Ethereum has traded in a tight range around $2,000 for more than four weeks while leverage and derivatives positioning have climbed sharply. Over the past two weeks, total staked ETH has reached a record 37.8 million, Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust has added 57,600 ETH, and more than $200 million has flowed into ETH ETFs. With ETH still down 30% year-to-date and short liquidity clustered near $2,180, heavily shorted traders could be exposed if accumulation triggers an upside squeeze.
