BlackRock lists iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF on Nasdaq as ETH holds above $2,000
BlackRock launched the iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB) on Nasdaq, offering investors spot ether exposure while staking 70% to 90% of its Ethereum holdings and distributing at least 82% of staking rewards to investors, according to its prospectus. The fund uses Coinbase Custody Trust as primary ETH custodian, Anchorage Digital Bank as alternative custodian, and Bank of New York Mellon for cash custody and administration. ETH briefly climbed above $2,090 to a one-week high of $2,095 after the listing, with analyst Ted Pillows noting Ethereum has defended the $2,000 level over the past three days and suggesting a potential 10%–15% rally if the price regains the $2,150 area. Separately, analyst Rekt Capital noted ETH is testing a multiyear uptrend that has acted as structural support since mid-2022, warning that multiple weekly closes below this trendline resemble the early phase of a breakdown, though a weekly close back above the level could invalidate the bearish setup.
