BlackRock's IBIT Records $263M Inflow as Spot Bitcoin ETFs Draw $458M on March 2
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) attracted $263 million of the $458 million in total spot Bitcoin ETF inflows on March 2, its largest single-day intake in over five months, Farside Investors and SoSoValue data show. Fidelity's FBTC recorded $94.8 million in inflows, lifting aggregate spot Bitcoin ETF net inflows above $55 billion. On the same day, MicroStrategy purchased 3,015 BTC for $204 million, bringing its total holdings to 720,737 BTC acquired for $54.7 billion, while CoinShares data showed digital asset investment products recorded $1.0 billion in weekly inflows after a prior five-week $4.0 billion outflow streak. Bitcoin briefly touched $70,000 on March 2 before retreating toward $67,000, with CoinShares noting that $881 million flowed into Bitcoin products and $3.7 million into short Bitcoin products.
