SWIFT Completes Landmark Digital Asset Interoperability Pilot With Ripple-Linked Partners

On March 10, 2026, SWIFT stated it had finished extensive trials for digital asset interoperability involving over 30 banks, including HSBC, BNP Paribas, Intesa Sanpaolo and Societe Generale – FORGE. The pilot explored ISO 20022-based connectivity for tokenized assets and stablecoins such as EURCV, USDC and Ripple's RLUSD across blockchain and traditional payment systems.
