Digital asset investment products took in $230 million in net inflows for the week ended March 21, after tallying $635 million in the first two days. Midweek, flows flipped as markets read the FOMC meeting as a "hawkish pause," leading to $405 million of outflows. Bitcoin products captured most activity with $219 million of inflows, while Ethereum funds saw $27.5 million of outflows.

Bitmine Immersion, chaired by Tom Lee, reported Monday that it added 65,341 ETH since its March 16 update, lifting holdings to 4,660,903 ETH and putting total crypto and cash at $11 billion. The company said its ETH position is about 3.86% of circulating supply, while Lee argued ETH is in the final phase of a "mini-crypto winter" after recent outperformance.

Crypto exchange-traded products took in $230 million last week even after $405 million in outflows following the US FOMC meeting. Bitcoin led with $219.2 million of inflows, while Ether products flipped to $27.5 million of outflows, ending a three-week run. The four-week inflow streak continued, but the pace fell from the prior week's $1.06 billion.

Ethereum climbed more than 4% and briefly moved above $2,170 after President Donald Trump said on Monday that the US would pause strikes on Iran for five days. Earlier, an OG wallet transferred and sold 15,002 ETH for about $30.97 million via Coinbase, while ETH continued to trade within the $2,000–$2,200 range.

Bitmine Immersion Technologies staked 94,670 ETH worth about $204 million, lifting its total staked position to 3,142,291 ETH as Ethereum traded above $2,100. Technical levels highlighted include $2,000 as key support, with $2,378 cited as a resistance to regain and $1,822.28 as nearby downside support. Separately, Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) said it has raised more than $32 million in a presale and listed a token price of $0.0136 with 66% APY staking rewards.

On Tuesday, the SEC and CFTC issued joint guidance that reclassifies most digital assets as commodities or "digital tools," narrowing the SEC's enforcement-heavy role. The shift has prompted conflict-of-interest concerns tied to World Liberty Financial, a DeFi project described as being controlled by the Trump family, as the new framework could reduce disclosure and registration burdens.

On March 23, 2026, NYSE Arca and NYSE American removed the 25,000-contract position and exercise caps for options tied to 11 spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs after the SEC issued an immediate waiver. Under standard exchange rules, large and liquid funds can now qualify for limits of 250,000 contracts or more, and the update also enables customizable FLEX options, including cash-settled FLEX for products such as IBIT.

Crypto's total market value has dipped to about $2.33 trillion, with the Fear and Greed Index sliding to 24 in deep "fear" territory. Bitcoin hovered around $68,000, down nearly 1.8% over the past 24 hours and almost 8% over the week. Selling pressure was heavier across major altcoins, alongside low-liquidity conditions and macro-driven risk aversion.

Hong Kong-listed Web3 gaming firm Boyaa Interactive International said it will seek shareholder approval to expand its crypto treasury, planning as much as $70 million in token purchases over the next year. The company said it would deploy idle cash during weaker market conditions, adding to a treasury that includes 4,091 BTC and 302 ETH.
