FTX to distribute about $900M on July 31; six-month deadline set for late onboarding creditors
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
FTX's fifth creditor distribution begins July 31, sending roughly $900M to eligible claim holders via BitGo, Kraken, or Payoneer within three business days. The event matters as a sizable liquidity flow that can translate into near-term spot selling or reinvestment across major crypto assets, while a six-month onboarding deadline may reduce future payout participation. Ongoing jurisdictional onboarding gaps add execution uncertainty.

FTX will kick off its fifth creditor distribution on July 31, sending roughly $900 million to holders of allowed claims who met the requirements by the June 16 record date. Payments are expected to arrive within three business days through BitGo, Kraken, or Payoneer.
The estate said creditors with allowed claims who do not complete onboarding within six months of Friday risk losing their distribution rights. Creditors in 45 jurisdictions still lack an available provider to complete onboarding.
Since distributions began in 2025, the FTX estate has returned nearly $10 billion to creditors.
