Solana: Samsung Wallet to Add USDC Cross-Border Transfers

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Solana said Samsung Wallet will natively enable USDC cross-border remittances for U.S. users across ~82M Galaxy devices starting late October. Deep wallet integration lowers onboarding friction and can lift stablecoin payment activity on Solana, reinforcing its positioning as a high-throughput settlement network. The announcement also highlights prior scale claims (>$5.25T stablecoin transaction volume in 2026), supporting near-term network utilization expectations.

Gold Finance reported that on Oct. 8, Solana said via its official X account that Samsung has partnered with Solana to bring stablecoins to 82 million Galaxy devices in the U.S. Beginning in the final week of October, Samsung Wallet users in the U.S. will be able to send cross-border remittances using USDC on Solana. Solana said the capability is built directly into Samsung Wallet rather than offered through a separate entry point. Users will be able to complete transfers within the same interface used for cards, boarding passes and IDs, with Solana running in the background. Solana added that its network processed more than $5.25 trillion in stablecoin transactions in 2026.
