Strategy Lifts Cash Reserve to $3.75B, Keeps Bitcoin Position Steady at 843,775 BTC

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Strategy reported a $525M increase in USD reserves to $3.75B while keeping Bitcoin holdings flat at 843,775 BTC for a fifth straight week, signaling a near-term liquidity focus rather than continued accumulation. Funding came primarily from $544.5M in MSTR ATM share sales alongside limited preferred share repurchases. The unchanged BTC position reduces incremental institutional bid from a major holder, while the larger cash buffer supports debt and preferred obligations.

Strategy boosted its U.S. dollar reserve by $525 million over the latest reporting week, taking the balance to $3.75 billion from $3.225 billion, according to a Form 8-K filed July 27, 2026. The company left its Bitcoin holdings unchanged for a fifth straight week at 843,775 BTC. Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said on X that the larger cash buffer now covers about 2.1 years of preferred dividend and debt interest obligations. Strategy last added Bitcoin on June 22, purchasing 520 BTC. Since then, it has neither bought additional coins nor trimmed its position. The company reported its Bitcoin holdings carry a total cost basis of $63.69 billion, implying an average purchase price of $75,476 per BTC including fees and related expenses. The stash represents more than 4% of Bitcoin's capped 21 million supply. A tracker chart shared by Saylor valued the position at about $54.36 billion as of July 26, roughly 14.84% below the average cost, translating to an unrealized loss of about $9.47 billion at that market price. Equity issuance continued to provide liquidity. Strategy sold 5,429,160 MSTR common shares through its at-the-market program, generating $544.5 million in net proceeds during the week. No preferred shares were issued via at-the-market programs in the same period. Remaining issuance capacity included $22.98 billion for MSTR and $17.51 billion for STRC, with additional headroom of $4.01 billion for STRD, $2.10 billion for STRK, and $1.62 billion for STRF. Following the filing, Strategy Inc. (MSTR) rose more than 6% to $97.59 in morning trading. On the capital-return side, the company repurchased 288,930 shares of STRC preferred stock for $25 million under the Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program announced June 29. No STRF, STRK, or STRD shares were repurchased. Strategy said it still has $975 million available under the preferred securities repurchase program and $1 billion authorized under a separate MSTR common stock repurchase plan, though it did not buy back any MSTR shares during the latest week. Thomas C. Chow, Strategy's executive vice president and general counsel, signed the filing under Item 7.01 of the Exchange Act.
