Dell shares climbed 5.8% to $565.15 on Tuesday after European AI chip startup Axelera AI unveiled its Europa inference processor, which it expects to appear in future Dell systems. Axelera said more than 600 customers already use its technology and that signed agreements total tens of millions of dollars. It added that its broader potential sales pipeline could reach $1.5 billion, though it said the figure reflects sales opportunities rather than booked revenue. Dell ended its latest quarter with roughly $95 billion of AI server backlog after shipping $16.4 billion of AI systems.
