Sanofi and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals have agreed to expand their partnership to jointly develop and commercialize new immunology drugs. Under the deal, Regeneron will receive $1 billion upfront from its European partner. It may also be eligible for up to $7 billion tied to development, regulatory and commercial milestones, bringing the agreement’s potential value to as much as $8 billion.
