Maruti Suzuki has completed the Phase D expansion at its Hansalpur plant, lifting annual capacity from 750,000 vehicles to 1 million and making it Suzuki’s first manufacturing site globally to reach that scale. The company’s total manufacturing capacity in India has also risen to 2.9 million vehicles a year. Hansalpur has become a key export hub, accounting for nearly 47% of overseas vehicle shipments in FY 2025-26. Maruti Suzuki said Hansalpur and the planned Sanand expansion in Gujarat will support its long-term goal of producing 4 million vehicles annually in India.
