GE Vernova shares surge more than 500% since April 2024 spinoff as investors bet on AI-driven power demand
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
GE Vernova is being repriced as a key "physical AI" beneficiary as data-center electrification and turbine demand tightens grid infrastructure bottlenecks. Q1 FY2026 orders rose 71% organically to $18.3B, including $2.4B of data-center grid equipment orders, and management raised 2026 revenue, margin, and free-cash-flow guidance. The full buyout of Prolec GE further strengthens grid equipment supply capacity, reinforcing the AI-linked power capex theme.

GE Vernova, the power-equipment company spun off from General Electric, has rallied more than 500% since it began trading independently on the NYSE in April 2024. In its first-quarter 2026 results, the company said orders rose 71% organically to $18.3 billion, including $2.4 billion of electrification equipment orders tied to data centers—more than all of 2025. GE Vernova raised its 2026 outlook for revenue, adjusted EBITDA margin and free cash flow, and completed the purchase of the remaining 50% stake in Prolec GE to bolster its grid-equipment supply.
