Restaurant Brands Asia cuts Q1 net loss to ₹28.3 crore as Burger King India posts record revenue and EBITDA
Restaurant Brands Asia Ltd reported a consolidated Q1 net loss of ₹28.3 crore, narrowing from ₹41.9 crore a year earlier, while revenue from operations rose 17.9% year on year to ₹822.6 crore. EBITDA increased 37.7% to ₹100.1 crore and the EBITDA margin improved to 12.2% from 10.4%. On a standalone basis, Burger King India posted same-store sales growth of 12.6%, its highest level in the past 15 quarters. The stock ended at ₹70.87 on the BSE, down ₹4.29, or 6.44%.
