Tether launched USAT on January 27, a federally regulated, USD-backed stablecoin built under the GENIUS Act and issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, BlockBeats reports. Bo Hines serves as CEO of Tether USAT, with Cantor Fitzgerald as the designated reserve custodian and preferred primary dealer. Designed for the U.S. market and digital payments, initial platforms include Bybit, Crypto.com, Kraken, OKX and Moonpay, while USDT continues operating globally. Tether Group is the world's 17th largest holder of U.S. Treasuries.
