It also calls for winding down Balancer Labs, moving work into a new operating company, and cutting headcount from 25 to 12.5 while reducing the new entity's budget by 34% to $1.9M.

As of March 23, 2026, an analysis of 5,000 XRP Ledger blocks found that payments accounted for 53.20% of over 1 million sampled transactions. OfferCreate activity followed with about 371,895 transactions (34.2%), while NFTokenBurn ranked third at about 65,369. Immunefi's “State of Onchain Security 2026” report argues that a hack's impact extends well beyond the moment funds are stolen, often turning into a months-long operational and market crisis.
