The Ethereum Foundation has introduced its 2029 “Strawmap,” a seven–hard fork plan designed to move the network to post-quantum cryptography while also cutting block finality to under 16 seconds. The sequence is set to begin in 2026 with the Glamsterdam fork in the first half of the year, followed by Hegota later in 2026, as Ethereum works toward STARK-based signatures and Single Slot Finality.

Bitmine Immersion Technologies said it launched MAVAN (Made in America Validator Network) on Wednesday to stake and generate yield from its ETH treasury. The company reported 3,142,643 ETH on the platform at launch, valued at about $6.8 billion using an ETH price of $2,148 at 5:00 p.m. ET on March 24, 2026. Bitmine also disclosed an SEC 8-K filing dated March 25, 2026 and said it is opening MAVAN to institutional clients.

Eureka Labs has raised $6.7 million to develop a new Ethereum (ETH) block model that treats blocks as programmable execution environments. The approach aims to push execution logic into block construction, enabling functions such as intra-block credit and state-aware computation. A March 24 report says the shift could broaden what developers can build on Ethereum, particularly for DeFi and timing-sensitive applications.

On March 25, 2026, Ethereum traded around $2,185, up 6.38% on the week, as analysts pointed to early signs of a potential shift in trend after a $1,800 support test. Key metrics highlighted include MVRV slipping under 0.8, a weekly SuperTrend flip to bullish for the first time since May 2025, and staking reaching 31.44% with about 38.31 million ETH locked. Despite tighter liquid supply and Binance balances at a post-2020 low, ETF flows and a negative Coinbase Premium suggest institutional demand has not yet confirmed the setup.

Bitmine, a company associated with Tom Lee, acquired 67,111 ETH worth about $145 million from Kraken within five hours. After the purchase, its reported total holdings rose above 4.66 million ETH, or roughly 3.86% of Ethereum's circulating supply. ETH price stayed range-bound around $2,180–$2,200 while RSI sat near 56–57 and MACD hovered close to zero.

Ethereum traded around $2,170 after Vitalik Buterin raised concerns about Layer-2 fragmentation and whether today's scaling path meets Ethereum's original goals. The setup leaves ETH between $2,100 support and $2,350 resistance, with order-book figures at 47/43 and a tight $2,150-$2,180 24-hour range. Separately, LiquidChain says its presale has raised more than $600K, with tokens priced at $0.0143 and advertised rewards of more than 1700% APY.

On March 24, crypto ETF flows split as Bitcoin and Ethereum products posted net redemptions while Solana and XRP saw small inflows. Bitcoin ETFs totaled -$66.6 million and Ethereum ETFs -$40.7 million, while Solana ETFs added +$4.5 million. BTC traded near $71,074 and ETH around $2,170 as investors appeared to rotate selectively rather than add broad exposure.

Ethereum (ETH) showed signs of weakening U.S. demand as the Coinbase Premium Index stayed negative around -0.0149, implying ETH was cheaper on Coinbase than Binance. CryptoQuant data pointed to elevated average order sizes, suggesting whales dominated spot activity while smaller retail flows remained limited. On the daily chart, ETH held above the $2,100 zone, but flat MACD, neutral RSI, and lower Open Interest signaled reduced momentum.

Bitcoin moved back above $70,000 early in the week as a lull in Middle East tensions improved risk sentiment and cooled oil-related inflation worries. Wintermute said BTC rebounded from the low $68,000s, briefly neared $71,000, and could retest $74,000–$76,000 if oil stabilizes and shipping routes normalize. Ethereum led institutional inflows during the volatility, while gold fell more than 10% in its weakest week in over four decades.

Ethereum rebounded from above $2,065 and is consolidating above $2,120 while trading above $2,140 and the 100-hour SMA. The ETH/USD pair also broke a bearish trend line near $2,145 and may extend gains if it clears resistance around $2,200. If price remains capped below that area, downside levels highlighted include $2,140, $2,110, and $2,065.
