Bitcoin's advance back into the mid-$73,000 area faded as the price reversed toward $67,000, dragging Ethereum below the $2,000 mark. Data from SoSoValue indicate that strong early-week inflows into US spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs abruptly turned into sizable outflows on March 5 and March 6, signaling softer institutional demand. At the same time, profit-taking by short-term Bitcoin holders and broader risk aversion tied to Middle East tensions contributed to the pullback, leaving Bitcoin around $67,500 and Ethereum near $1,975.

According to commentary from Crypto Wendy, Bitwise's XRP-focused exchange-traded product in the United States has recently drawn nearly $10 million in new inflows despite a volatile altcoin market. At the same time, Ripple is rolling out its RLUSD stablecoin stack across XRP Ledger and Ethereum, pursuing institutional cross-border payment use cases while partners such as Hidden Road and Doppler Finance work on bridging XRP into traditional finance and multi-chain environments.

The Ethereum Foundation has started staking part of its treasury, intending to allocate up to 70,000 ETH through infrastructure from Bitwise's Onchain Solutions unit. The program begins with an initial 2,016 ETH deposit and could amount to roughly $140 million at current prices, while network-wide staking has reached about 37.6 million ETH, or 30.2% of the circulating supply.

Ether traded back above $2,000 on Monday as derivatives exchanges saw more than 110,000 ETH in net inflows and the estimated leverage ratio hit a record high. Short liquidations of about $273 million are stacked near $2,030, with key resistance between $2,050 and $2,100 potentially guiding whether price can extend beyond $2,150. Traders are watching the $1,900–$2,000 support band, where a long-term ascending trendline has repeatedly sparked strong rebounds.

BitMine, chaired by Tom Lee, has purchased an additional 60,976 ETH for close to $123 million, lifting its total Ethereum holdings to 4,535,563 coins valued at over $9 billion. The firm, which also reports $1.2 billion in cash and several other crypto and equity positions, plans to modestly speed up ETH accumulation as the price trades just above $2,000 after recent market volatility.

Crypto investment products saw $619 million of inflows last week, with Bitcoin ETPs alone attracting $521 million and turning positive year-to-date. Total assets under management in crypto ETPs rebounded to $135.4 billion, even as geopolitical risks connected to Iran weighed on sentiment.

Bitcoin USD is trading around $67,200 while its market dominance has eased to about 58%, with overall crypto capitalization above $2.38 trillion. On-chain and ETF flow metrics indicate growing interest in Ethereum, including a day when $31.6M in ETH left centralized exchanges and roughly $20M flowed into ETH ETFs, as analysts debate whether this signals a broader altcoin rotation.

Bitcoin is trading around $67,445 with a market capitalization above $1.34 trillion, while the broader crypto market value hovers near $2.3 trillion. Major altcoins such as Ethereum, BNB and Solana show mixed movements, and the Altcoin Season Index at 37 signals that BTC continues to dominate sentiment.

Ethereum has moved into a bearish phase after losing the $2,020 level and sliding below $2,000, with the price now trading under the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average. ETH recently dipped to $1,912 and is struggling to reclaim resistance near $1,980–$2,020, while key support at $1,920 and $1,880 could be tested if sellers remain in control.

On Monday, Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP posted gains even as global equity futures signaled steep losses amid a severe oil supply shock and rising U.S.-Iran tensions. Bitcoin traded near $66,124.97, while Ethereum hovered around $1,944.62 and XRP reached $1.34, with total crypto market capitalization at $2.28 trillion. Analysts pointed to digital assets' lack of direct exposure to disrupted physical energy infrastructure and Bitcoin's positioning as a value store as factors supporting prices.
