Aave TVL Slides 16.78% to $21.966B as Whales Pull Funds After KelpDAO Exploit Borrowing

Mars Finance reported that on April 19, DefiLlama data showed the KelpDAO hacker borrowed a large amount of ETH from Aave. The activity triggered major whales to withdraw funds from Aave to reduce risk. Aave's total value locked (TVL) fell to $21.966 billion, down 16.78% from $26.396 billion a day earlier.
