BlackRock Lists Staked Ethereum ETF on Nasdaq With $106.7M in Assets
BlackRock listed its iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB) on Nasdaq on Thursday with $106.7 million in net assets, offering investors roughly 4% annual yield through Ether staking, the firm and analyst James Seyffart said. The ETF traded 592,804 shares for $15.5 million in volume on its debut, with the portfolio allocated to 80% staked Ether and 20% liquid Ether custodied by Coinbase. ETHB charges a 0.25% sponsor fee, reduced to 0.12% for the first year on up to $2.5 billion in assets, and uses validators operated by Figment, Galaxy Digital, and Attestant. The launch follows BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) and iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA), which attracted $62.8 billion and $11.9 billion in inflows respectively in 2024, while ETHB's debut volume remained below the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) at $55.4 million and REXOsprey SOL + Staking ETF (SSK) at $33.7 million, Farside Investors data show.
