Google Launches MPC Crypto Custody Platform for Banks, Commercial Release Planned for Early 2027

Google launched a MultiParty Compute custody platform for banks. It shards private keys across environments and enforces spending limits and multiparty authorization before signing. The service is in private preview and planned for commercial release in early 2027. Chainalysis data shows private key compromises were 43.8% of stolen crypto assets in 2024. It is not post-quantum but can be extended.
