Anthropic's Mythos AI Audits Zcash Protocol, Reports No New Critical Bugs
Zcash co-creator Zooko Wilcox-O'Hearn said this week that Anthropic ran a full security review of the Zcash protocol using its restricted Mythos model and found no additional critical vulnerabilities. The post followed public disclosure of an Orchard shielded-pool soundness bug on June 4 and 5 that coincided with a sharp ZEC selloff. As of June 13, ZEC was trading around $411 to $416, after NU6.2 patched the issue and work continued toward the Ironwood upgrade targeted for late July 2026.

Zooko Wilcox-O’Hearn says Mythos audit found no major new Zcash flaws on June 12
On June 12, Zcash founder Zooko Wilcox-O’Hearn said Anthropic’s AI-based Mythos review did not surface additional serious vulnerabilities in the Zcash protocol. The update follows a disclosure of a four-year Orchard shielded-pool bug that could have enabled unlimited counterfeit ZEC, after which ZEC slid about 53% and later traded near $415 with a market cap above $6.94 billion. Zcash developers say the flaw has been patched and have also outlined the Ironwood proposal to further isolate any potentially counterfeit coins.

Internet Computer (ICP) Tops 6.7K TPS but Price Stays Near $2.5 in Downtrend
Internet Computer continues to trade around $2.5 after spending nearly two years in a steep descending channel, even as its on-chain activity accelerates. The network is processing about 6.7K TPS and logged roughly 75.7 billion transactions over the past 180 days, but technical structure still points to a bearish bias. A sustained push above $3.00 could shift momentum toward $4.00–$4.50, while a drop below $2.20–$2.30 may put $1.80–$2.00 in focus.
