BlackRock Bitcoin ETF Shows Negative Return Despite $26 Billion Inflows, Ranks Fourth Globally
BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF is the only product showing a negative return among the top 20 global ETFs by net inflows, while all others are in profit, BlackRock's Head of Digital Assets said during a live stream cited by ChainCatcher. The Bitcoin ETF has accumulated $26 billion in inflows, placing it fourth worldwide by that metric. The executive said the pattern suggests Bitcoin is going through a phase of sharp rotation and long-term accumulation, with about 90% of investors buying the dip and roughly 10%, mainly hedge funds, focused on short-term, high-frequency arbitrage trades based on basis differentials.
