BTC Whale Suffers $10.27M Long Liquidation on Hyperliquid, Largest Single Wipeout in 24 Hours

A BTC whale address (0x1bf...) saw its long position liquidated for 146 BTC worth approximately $10.27 million when Bitcoin fell to $70,151 on March 6, marking the largest single liquidation on Hyperliquid in the past 24 hours, Hyperinsight data cited by BlockBeats show. The address still holds a 40x leveraged BTC long position on Hyperliquid valued at an estimated $41.6 million with an average entry of $71,440 and a liquidation level at $69,997, roughly 1.4% below current prices. BlockBeats added the address had closed a $32 million BTC short position at an average of $72,300 the previous night, then reopened and scaled a long position to as much as $52 million shortly after BTC dropped below $72,000, becoming Hyperliquid's largest BTC long within 24 hours before liquidation.
