Oobit Freezes EURR 100,000 After StablR Smart-Contract Exploit

Oobit, a Tether-backed mobile wallet, said on X that funds linked to a StablR smart-contract exploit attempted to move through its platform. The statement followed an alert from blockchain investigator ZachXBT, who reported a $13.5 million attack involving two StablR contracts, EURR and USDR. Oobit said its compliance team flagged the activity, froze EURR worth $100,000 and closed the relevant withdrawal routes. The firm added that customer funds were not impacted and its systems were not breached, and said it is working with StablR and investigators as the situation is addressed. Earlier reports said StablR suffered a hack leading to roughly $2.8 million in losses, and that both EURR and USDR temporarily lost their pegs.
