Ethereum has declined beneath the $3,000 level, currently trading near $2,966 and recording approximately 17% in weekly losses. Technical indicators including RSI at 30 suggest oversold conditions, while the MACD remains bearish with widening negative momentum. Market analysts are divided on whether this represents a deeper correction or a potential setup for recovery.

A wallet tagged as BlackRock's ETHA Ethereum fund transferred over $176 million in Ether to Coinbase Prime through five 10,000 ETH transactions, according to on-chain data. Separately, a wallet associated with BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes sent tokens including LDO, ENA, UNI, and AAVE to market maker Wintermute and multiple exchange addresses. ETH market dominance has stabilized near 12% after recovering from the 7–8% support zone.

Bitcoin dropped below $92,000 and Ethereum fell under $3,000, marking multi-month lows for both assets. The decline triggered approximately $800 million in liquidations across more than 150,000 positions. Excessive leverage drove the market downturn, according to CoinGlass data.

Ethereum has declined more than 35% since Oct. 6, with long-term holders maintaining positions for 3–10 years now selling over 45,000 ETH daily. Institutional treasuries BitMine and SharpLink have accumulated a combined 4.35 million ETH, representing 2.9% of total supply and additional holdings. CBOE Global Markets will introduce Bitcoin Continuous Futures (PBT) and Ether Continuous Futures (PET) on December 15, pending regulatory review. Trading will operate 23 hours per day, five days per week, offering U.S. traders perpetual-style exposure within a regulated framework.

Franklin Templeton will launch its XRP exchange-traded fund (EZRP) on November 18, followed by five additional issuers through November 25. Shiba Inu has been added to Japan's official Green List maintained by the Japan Virtual and Crypto Assets Exchange Association, data show. The inclusion places SHIB in the same regulatory category as Bitcoin and Ethereum, marking it as the first meme coin to achieve this status. A proposed tax reduction from 55% to 20% on crypto gains could benefit Japanese SHIB investors.
