Bitcoin climbed more than 5.5% this week, briefly touching $97,000, after U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $840 million in inflows over two days. Despite the surge, derivatives and options data suggest the rally is being driven by capital rotation into macro hedges rather than speculative risk-taking.

According to the analysis using data from Kraken, XRP could not extend above $2.20 and pulled back through $2.150 and $2.120, slipping below the 100-hour Simple Moving Average. Buyers are attempting to defend $2.080 and a trend line support, while $2.120 and $2.150 cap the upside; a break could revisit $2.20.

Chainlink’s price has broken out of a long-running descending channel and is holding above former resistance around the mid-$14 region. Large holders recently withdrew 342,557 LINK worth $4.8 million from Binance, while spot exchange netflows turned negative by about $2.26 million and Open Interest climbed 9.5% to roughly $673.5 million, with funding near 0.0101%. These shifts in supply, leverage, and structure favor bullish continuation as long as price stays above the old channel boundary, though a breakdown could trigger sharper downside if leverage unwinds.

On Thursday, the Crypto Fear & Greed Index registered a 61 "greed" reading, one day after moving to 48 neutral and the first such signal since October. Bitcoin's seven‑day rally took it from $89,799 to a two‑month high of $97,704 on Wednesday. The index had sunk to low double digits in November and December after Oct. 11's $19 billion liquidation.

Ethereum climbed from above $3,220 to a $3,402 high and is now trading over $3,300 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average while it consolidates gains. A bullish trend line is forming around $3,280 support, and holding that area could open the way to the $3,400–$3,500 resistance band, while a break lower may expose $3,230 and $3,200. Key intraday indicators show bullish momentum slowing but still keep ETH above the 50 level on the hourly RSI.

Internet Computer ICP advanced 12%, adding about $243 million to reach roughly $1.95 billion in market value. The breakout above a two month downtrend puts $3.78 and $4.34 in focus, with a path toward $5.30 if buyers hold momentum. Community sentiment was 73.68% bullish on 14 January.

Bitcoin reclaimed the $95,000 mark for the first time since mid-November after a multi-week consolidation. Analyst Darkfost reports that spending from long-dormant "OG" holders has eased, removing a notable source of sell pressure, while price now confronts the $95K–$96K resistance area with broader trend confirmation still pending.

Bitcoin extended its rise above $95,500 and is currently trading over $96,000. Immediate resistance sits near $97,200 and $97,800, with further hurdles at $98,000 and $98,800, while supports include $96,000, $95,250, and $94,000. A sustained break above $98,000 could open room toward $99,500, $99,800, and $100,000.

Bitcoin is trading within an ascending channel, with bulls defending both the 50-week and 50-day moving averages as support while price trends higher. ETF flows and liquidation data show strong spot and institutional demand, including a recent $753.8 million single-day ETF inflow and $174.5 million in liquidations that largely hit short positions, supporting the view that the uptrend could extend toward the $130,000 area.

Bitcoin rose 5% to $95k as the broader crypto market added about $130 billion in value in the third week of the month. With cooling U.S. inflation, softer labor data and progress on the CLARITY and GENIUS Acts, some analysts see macro conditions supporting a potential push toward $100k.
