Neo community developer isleepcode released two open-source Neo N3 tools in May: neovest on May 12 and Gasetta on May 16. Gasetta generates AI summaries of Neo GitHub activity and tracks commentary from co-founders Da Hongfei and Erik Zhang to help gauge Neo N4 progress. neovest is an alpha, trustless token-vesting smart contract with multiple schedule types and no external audit yet.

AgentCypher has launched Joker King, an autonomous AI-agent card battle game on Neo X with a US $25,000 seasonal prize pool paid out across multiple cycles. The first cycle runs from March 26 to April 3 and includes a US $5,000 pool, while matches are settled on-chain via smart contracts without human involvement during gameplay.

On March 17, AxLabs released two TypeScript SDKs for the NeoFS decentralized object storage network, adding native tools for JavaScript and TypeScript developers. The neofs-sdk-ts-core package offers shared cryptographic utilities, while neofs-sdk-ts-node delivers full NeoFS API coverage for Node.js, including container, object, and access control operations. Both libraries are open-sourced under the Apache 2.0 license and aim to make NeoFS more accessible for Web3 application development.

On March 16, Neo core developer and R3E Network founder Jimmy Liao announced the release of neo-js v0.1.8, a lightweight TypeScript-native SDK for Neo N3. The package focuses on core functionality like transaction creation, wallet support, and typed RPC access while depending on only two runtime libraries, including COZ's neon-core. It is positioned as a complement to the long-running neon-js SDK and is currently available under an MIT license on npm and GitHub.

Neo has signed an integration agreement with omnichain messaging protocol LayerZero to add cross-chain communication to its EVM-compatible sidechain Neo X. Da Hongfei said on March 16 that TestNet integration should be finished by the end of the month, with MainNet to follow, while talks on a separate Neo N3 integration continue without a set timeline.
