Quantum Computing Threatens Bitcoin Wallet Security by 2030 as BMIC Launches Quantum-Safe Crypto Stack

Experts caution that within the next five to ten years, powerful quantum computers could decode the cryptographic protections used by Bitcoin, Ethereum and standard EOA wallets, exposing funds to "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks. BMIC, a presale-stage project, is building a quantum-secure finance stack using ERC-4337 smart accounts and NIST-approved post-quantum signatures to avoid public key exposure and add staking and payment features. The BMIC token sale aims to raise €40 million with tiered pricing up to $0.058182, funding a wallet rollout from 2026 and a planned Quantum Meta-Cloud integration in 2027.
