As Ethereum trades above $3,000, the Rainbow Chart projects that by January 1, 2026, ETH will likely remain below its most euphoric valuation zones, with indicative ranges spanning from under $1,000 to over $22,000. At press time, Ethereum was around $3,155, up about 1.7% over the last 24 hours and less than 1% higher on the week. Based on the asset's current position in the "Still Cheap" band, the model highlights a plausible medium scenario of roughly $2,500 to $5,200 by that date.

Digital asset ETPs logged $716 million in weekly inflows, lifting assets under management to $180 billion. The US led with $483 million, followed by Germany at $96.9 million and Canada at $80.7 million. Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP attracted $352 million, $338 million and $245 million respectively.

JPMorgan Chase has introduced a private tokenized money market fund on Ethereum, seeding it with $100 million. The MONY vehicle issues wallet-based share tokens via Morgan Money, with subscriptions and redemptions in cash or USDC and eligibility starting at $1 million; individuals need at least $5 million and institutions $25 million.

ETFs holding XRP have accumulated $1.18 billion, equal to 0.98% of circulating supply, while price hovers near $2. Shiba Inu derivatives showed a roughly 3,000% liquidation skew favoring long wipeouts. JP Morgan introduced its My OnChain Net Yield fund on Ethereum’s Base network, with a $1 million minimum and a $100 million initial allocation.

JPMorgan Asset Management launched its first tokenized money market fund on the Ethereum blockchain, according to The Wall Street Journal on December 15. The private My OnChain Net Yield Fund will be seeded with $100 million of JPMorgan capital and opens to external investors on December 16, with a $1 million minimum and eligibility thresholds for qualified individuals and institutions.

Bitcoin slipped below $88,000 yesterday before recovering to about $90,000, where it has lingered for several sessions. Last week included two tests of $94,000 around the US Federal Reserve's 25 bps rate cut, while dominance remains under 57% on CG. Ethereum has gained over 2% above $3,150, with other large-cap alts mixed.

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin sold 1,400 UNI alongside 10,000 KNC and 40 trillion DINU, receiving 16,796 USDC. UNI trades near $5.40 after a 0.87% 24-hour drop, with resistance at $5.80–$6.00 and support around $5.10–$5.20 as Bitcoin hovers near $89,800.

MEXC has launched the ETHFI Euphoria campaign running from December 15, 2025 to January 14, 2026, featuring a $1 million prize pool and zero-fee trading on ETHFI spot and futures pairs. Users can earn rewards via spins, deposits, ETHFI and weETH staking with rates up to 200% APR, plus futures bonuses and leaderboard prizes for qualifying volumes.

Institutional custodian Hex Trust launched Wrapped XRP on Thursday, deploying the asset across Ethereum, Solana, Optimism, and HyperEVM with 100 million dollars in initial liquidity. The rollout targets RLUSD pairs on EVM chains and uses a 1:1 custodial model and LayerZero's OFT standard; XRP was little changed and RLUSD supply was 1.3 billion.

A dense slate of U.S. economic releases from Dec. 15 to 19 has traders bracing for turbulence, while Bitcoin briefly dipped below $88,000 in a late Sunday slide. Tuesday features October retail sales and the November jobs report; Thursday brings CPI and the Philly Fed index; Friday includes Core PCE, housing, expectations, and sentiment.
