Tether seeks $500B valuation in funding round, launches USAT stablecoin for U.S.

Tether is pursuing a $500B valuation in a new funding round and has launched USAT, a stablecoin for the U.S. market, CEO Paolo Ardoino said. The company reported $10B in profit for 2025 and holds $122B in U.S. Treasuries.
