Ripple unlocks 3 billion XRP in Q1 2026, leaving 900 million tokens in circulation

Between January and March 2026, Ripple Labs unlocked 3 billion XRP from its escrow, ultimately leaving around 900 million XRP, valued at $1.278 billion as of March 13, circulating for business use. The company returned about 2.1 billion XRP to escrow, which still holds over 33 billion XRP, while using released tokens to fund operations, acquisitions and share repurchases.
