Resolv Proposes 72-Hour Deal: Return 90% of Stolen ETH, Keep 10%
Resolv Labs said on X that the Resolv team has sent an on-chain message to the attacker's address offering a settlement: return 90% of the stolen funds—about $25 million in ETH—within 72 hours, and keep the remaining 10% as an incentive.
Resolv said if there is no response by the deadline, it will step up efforts, including working with centralized exchanges, cross-chain bridges and infrastructure providers to freeze assets; publicly disclosing related addresses and transaction trails; coordinating with blockchain analytics firms and law enforcement; and pursuing legal action.
In an earlier incident update, Resolv Labs said the attacker gained unauthorized access to Resolv's infrastructure through a compromised private key and minted roughly $80 million in unminted USR. The company said 9 million of the illegally minted USR tokens have been burned so far.
