Bitcoin UTXO supply clusters at $63,000 and $62,000 hit 8%, echoing pre-FTX levels
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Bitcoin URPD data shows unusually high UTXO cost-basis concentration near $62k–$63k, totaling ~8% of circulating supply, a setup reminiscent of pre-FTX conditions. Such clustering can raise short-term price sensitivity as holders around these levels may amplify moves via coordinated selling or defending. Separately, uncertainty around the CLARITY bill timeline adds a policy overhang that could affect broader crypto risk appetite.

BlockBeats reported on Aug. 1 that crypto analyst Murphy, citing Bitcoin's URPD (UTXO Realized Price Distribution) data, said about 890,000 BTC are concentrated around $63,000 and roughly 710,000 BTC around $62,000. Together, these holdings account for about 8% of the circulating supply, well above normal levels. Murphy said the concentration resembles conditions seen ahead of the 2022 FTX collapse. Elevated clustering can amplify Bitcoin's price sensitivity and increase the risk of sharp swings, potentially setting the stage for a forceful redistribution. He added that such signals often serve as an important gauge for market direction as a bear market nears its end. Separately, Jiang Zhuo'er said that if the CLARITY bill fails to pass before Congress adjourns, Bitcoin could complete its final leg down to the bear-market bottom.
