The U.S. Department of Defense has struck a software deal with Oracle valued at nearly $7 billion. Separately, L3Harris said its CEO resigned over a conduct violation and that Sam Mehta will take over. The company said its Space and Mission Systems (SMS) and Communications and Spectrum Dominance (CSD) units generate more than 80% of total revenue. L3Harris bought Aerojet Rocketdyne in 2023 and announced in January it would spin off its missile solutions unit, with the Pentagon set to take a $1 billion stake in the new company.
