Blumenthal Asks Tether for Records on $6.3M Nxum Deal Tied to Stablecoin Bill
Sen. Richard Blumenthal has asked Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino for contracts, payments, communications and lobbying records tied to a reported $6.3 million marketing deal with Nxum. The Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations is examining whether the arrangement involved coordination on the GENIUS Act stablecoin bill. Tether says outside counsel found no evidence of wrongdoing.
