To further enhance the efficiency of handling P2P order disputes and improve the user experience, the platform has officially launched the P2P expedited appeal mechanism.
When eligible, certain orders can be processed via the expedited appeal channel for more efficient dispute resolution.
1. Introduction to P2P Expedited Appeal
The P2P expedited appeal is a simplified dispute resolution mechanism provided by the platform, designed to enhance the efficiency of order dispute handling. When the relevant conditions are met, the system will make a rapid determination according to established rules to help users handle specific disputes in a more timely manner.
1.1 Issues Supported by Expedited Appeal:
Buyer: I have completed payment, but the counterparty has not yet released the assets.
Seller: I have not received payment from the counterparty.
1.2 Applicable Order Scope:
P2P orders only
Not supported for specific order types such as P2P Quick Buy
2. How Expedited Appeal Works
When an order meets the expedited appeal criteria, the system will prompt the user to choose between the expedited appeal and the standard appeal process after submitting the relevant materials. Users may select the option that best suits their needs.
After the user submits an expedited appeal, the system will generally complete the review within 15 minutes, during which time no appeal agent will join the order chat window.
Once the review is completed, the assets involved in the order will be temporarily frozen for up to 24 hours based on platform policy. This allows the counterparty to confirm the outcome in the chat window. The actual freeze period will be displayed on the order page.
If no objection is raised during the freeze period, the relevant assets will be automatically released after the freeze period ends.
If the counterparty raises an objection via the chat window during the freeze period, a platform appeal agent will intervene in the order chat window to re-review and the related assets will remain frozen until the dispute is resolved.
During the appeal and dispute handling process, both parties must cooperate with verification and respond within the specified timeframe in the order chat window. If valid evidence cannot be provided, the platform reserves the right to handle the matter according to its rules.
Note: In certain special cases, the handling process of an expedited appeal may differ from that of the regular manual appeal process.
3. Differences Between Normal Appeal and Expedited Appeal
4. Terms & Conditions
Regardless of whether the expedited or normal appeal process is used, all P2P order appeals, dispute handling, and final determinations will be carried out in accordance with the platform’s Order Appeal Processing Rules.
The platform reserves the final interpretation and handling rights for all appeal cases.
