If you encounter a scam while trading crypto assets, follow the steps below immediately. The faster you act, the smaller the loss.
⚠️ Important: Once a digital asset transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it is irreversible. BingX cannot reverse completed transactions. Act immediately. Every minute matters.
Take the following actions immediately if you encounter a scam:
1. Stop making payments immediately
No matter what reason the scammer gives for asking you to continue transferring funds, stop immediately. "Continue paying to recover your losses" is the most common scam tactic. Do not fall for it.
2. Protect your BingX account
If you clicked a suspicious link or disclosed your login information, take the following actions immediately:
- Change your login password. Use a strong password and do not reuse it.
- Reset Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and link to a secure authenticator.
3. Save all chat records and screenshots
Back up all conversations with the scammer (including timestamps) and save screenshots of the following key information:
- Transfer details: wallet address, transaction hash (TxID), amount, and time.
- Scam communication records: the scammer's false promises, phishing links, and chat screenshots.
- Video of the fund transfer: if possible, keep a screen recording that shows the funds being transferred out of your account.
💡 Tip: The transaction hash (TxID) is a unique, tamper-proof record on the blockchain. It is key supporting evidence for reporting incidents to law enforcement and requesting platform assistance. Please keep it safe.
4. Report the case to the police (necessary and critical)
Bring all saved evidence and file a formal report with your local law enforcement agency. When filing the report, explain:
- When the scam occurred, how it happened, and information about the scammer.
- The cryptocurrencies and amounts involved.
- All transaction hashes and wallet addresses.
-
A police report is the only formal way to initiate fund freezing and request investigative assistance. After filing a police report, please request that the police contact BingX using the method below:

5. Report to BingX customer support
Contact BingX online customer support and explain your situation. Customer support will log your case and follow this procedure:
Procedure:
1. Submit basic information: provide your full name, phone number, email address, and a brief description of the incident.
2. Provide key transaction information: transaction hash (TXID), the deposit address involved, token amount, and a video of the fund transfer-out (if any).
3. Security and Compliance Team review: customer support will forward your case to the Security and Compliance Team for professional review. Customer support does not have the authority to directly access or manage other users' accounts.
4. Law enforcement involvement (critical step): The platform can take further action only after receiving formal legal documents issued by law enforcement agencies (such as an investigation assistance letter or a freeze notice). Please request that the police contact the platform through the Kodex process outlined above.
Temporary freeze period:
| Stage | Description |
| After you submit evidence |
After you provide sufficient evidence, the platform may, upon request, place a temporary freeze on the funds involved for up to 48 hours. Within 48 hours |
| Within 48 hours | Please submit the police report or other legally valid documents as soon as possible. If valid documents are not received by the deadline, the freeze will be lifted automatically. |
| After legal documents are received | After the platform receives legally valid documents, it may extend the freeze until the date stated in the documents. The platform will then wait for the police to contact it through the official channel (the Kodex system). |
| 14-day period | If the police do not contact the platform through the official channel within 14 days of the freeze extension, the freeze will be lifted. If the police have contacted the platform, the Security and Compliance Team will continue to follow up and act on instructions. |
⚠️ Customer support authority statement: BingX customer support cannot directly freeze user accounts, transfer funds, or promise compensation. The platform does not guarantee fund recovery. Any formal action will only be taken after law enforcement agencies issue lawful documents.
