U.S. Oil Reserve (USOR), a Solana-based crypto token, has surged more than 660% in a week, driven by oil-themed narratives and speculative momentum. While USOR is a real, actively traded token, claims that it is oil-backed or government-verified remain unproven, positioning it as a high-risk, narrative-driven asset rather than a fundamentals-based investment.

Bitcoin slid 4% on Tuesday to $87,790 on Coinbase, erasing year-to-date gains. Over the past 48 hours, more than $1.8 billion in positions were liquidated, about 93% of them longs, according to Coinglass. Analysts pointed to renewed U.S. tariff threats and turmoil in Japanese bonds as drivers, while crypto's market cap dropped by $225 billion to $3.08 trillion.

Ripple president Monica Long predicts that by the end of 2026, around half of Fortune 500 firms will have formal digital asset strategies and that balance sheets will collectively hold over $1 trillion in digital assets. She expects rapid growth in institutional use of tokenized assets, stablecoins and onchain instruments, along with broader integration of stablecoins into global payment systems.

Ethereum has extended its decline from the $3,200 resistance, breaking below $3,000 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average while testing lows near $2,910. With a bearish trend line capping price around $3,020 and major support clustered near $2,880, ETH faces the risk of further losses unless buyers can defend this zone and trigger a rebound toward $3,120–$3,150.

Trump Media, the company behind Donald Trump's Truth Social platform, has set Feb. 2 as the record date for a non-tradable digital token airdrop to eligible shareholders. The token will be minted and custodied by Crypto.com and won't represent equity or cash claims, but may periodically provide discounts on Trump Media products. Simply Wall St estimates Trump Media has nearly 280 million shares outstanding, with over 41% owned by individual insiders and smaller portions held by the general public and institutions.

On Tuesday, BitMine reported that its Ethereum stash had risen to 4.2 million ETH after buying 35,268 ETH, valued at about $110 million, bringing its combined crypto and cash holdings to $14.5 billion. Following this move, the firm now controls 3.48% of ETH’s 120.7 million supply and has staked 1,838,003 ETH worth $5.9 billion, while the ETH price has fallen below $3,000 and is testing a key support area around the mid-range of $2,600–$3,350.

Bitcoin has held above $80k for nearly 60 days, a setup that previously preceded breakouts since 2023. A 60-day price coil and a CFGI 30/90-day crossover in early 2026 point to a possible rally, while a trader sees scope for $107k; momentum remains above neutral.

Bitcoin fell below $90,000 after losing the $92,500 support, touching $87,784 before consolidating. Traders are watching $88,000 on the downside and resistance at $89,600, $90,000, and $91,650; a close above $91,650–$92,000 could target $94,000, $94,200 trend line resistance, and $95,000–$95,500, while failure risks $88,800, $87,500, and $86,200.
