Coinbase Quantum Advisory Council Flags 7 Million BTC as Potentially Quantum-Vulnerable

Coinbase's Quantum Advisory Council says Bitcoin and other crypto networks should start preparing for a post-quantum transition ahead of any practical quantum attack. The group estimates roughly 7 million BTC could be exposed due to visible public keys or address reuse, including about 1.7 million BTC held in legacy Pay-to-Public-Key addresses.
