Ethereum Founder Unveils Kohaku Privacy Tool at Devcon Conference
Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin demonstrated Kohaku, a privacy-preserving cryptographic tool designed to enhance privacy and security within the Ethereum ecosystem, at Devcon on November 18, The Block reports. Kohaku is an open-source initiative offering a modular framework that enables developers to build secure, privacy-focused wallets without relying on centralized third parties. The project may expand to include network-level anonymity tools such as mixnets and zero-knowledge technology-driven browsers. At the Ethereum Cypherpunk conference, Buterin said Ethereum is advancing on a "privacy upgrade path" aimed at delivering "real-world applicable privacy and security."
