Binance says bStocks tops $500 million AUM seven weeks after launch
Binance said its tokenized securities product bStocks has surpassed $500 million in assets under management seven weeks after launch. The company said 41.5% of users got their first exposure to traditional finance through bStocks, and Gen Z accounts for 44% of trading activity. Binance also said bStocks contributes 58% of equity-linked trading volume on the platform outside U.S. market hours. Ice Make Refrigeration to raise INR 1,800 million from Japan’s Galilei Holdings and form 60-40 joint venture
Ice Make Refrigeration Ltd. has signed an agreement with Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed Galilei Holdings to raise INR 1,800 million via a preferential issue, and an additional INR 100 Million from other investors. The two companies also plan to set up a joint venture in which Galilei will hold a 60% stake and Ice Make 40%. Taiex drops below 40,000 after 1,830.55-point slide as AI capex worries intensify
Taiwan’s Taiex fell below the 40,000 mark, dropping 1,830.55 points (-4.40%) to 39,772.81 as of 11:53 a.m. local time on July 29. TSMC, which accounts for over 40 per cent of total market value, slid 3.29 per cent to NT$2,205. Some semiconductor component stocks also hit the 10 per cent daily limit down. The selling was driven by deepening doubts about whether AI-related capital spending will deliver the expected returns.

Pakistan’s wheat shortfall widens as Punjab buys 16% of its procurement target
