Ethereum drops below $3,000; bearish trend caps at $3,120 with $2,920 support

Ether fell from the $3,175 area and is trading under $3,000 and the 100‑hour Simple Moving Average. After printing a low at $2,916, price is consolidating; resistance sits near $2,980, $3,050 and $3,080, while support is seen at $2,950 and $2,920, with deeper levels at $2,880, $2,840, and $2,800.
