f2pool: 13-Block Catch-Up Helps Litecoin End Brief Chain Split
On April 25, 2026, the Litecoin network experienced abnormal activity tied to invalid MWEB transactions, triggering a temporary chain split. f2pool said it identified the issue and continued mining on the valid chain under the correct consensus rules. After a 13-block race, the valid chain closed the gap. Starting from block 3,095,931, f2pool mined key blocks that enabled the valid chain to overtake the invalid fork, prompting a natural reorganization back to the correct chain.
