While traders remain predominantly bearish after the recent decline, funding rates for certain trading pairs returned to neutral territory. Funding rates serve as a balancing mechanism in perpetual futures contracts, facilitating capital transfers between long and short position holders without platform collection to keep contract prices aligned with underlying asset prices.
