Almar Water Solutions has won the second-phase expansion of Aramco’s Zuluf oilfield water treatment project, with a total investment of $940 million. The expansion will add about 308,000 cubic meters per day of new treatment capacity, or 1.9 million barrels of water per day, to support injection water supply needed for crude production. It follows a first phase launched in 2023 with a capacity of 185,000 cubic meters per day. The project will run under a BOOT structure through 2050.
